Evans’s seeks repayment of £223,000 ransom

Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike (a.k.a. Evans) on Wednesday stood his ground against a suit filed by a kidnapped victim, chief duru

Duru in 2018, filled a suit in a Lagos high court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square.

He is demanding that  Evans refund the 223,000 pounds he allegedly paid as ransom while he was kidnapped and kept in custody.

Duru also said   Evans should pay the sum of N50 million as damages for his abduction.

On Wednesday, Evans’s counsel, Mr Amobi Nzelu, his reminded the court that on the last adjourned date, which is June 29, It granted his application to become counsel to the defendant in court.
